Honest limits
Uses the standard US 4.0 grade scale (A=4.0 … F=0). Schools vary — some award 4.3 for A+, some skip plus/minus grades, and retake/pass-fail policies differ. This gives an estimate for planning; your institution's official calculation is authoritative.
