Runs 100% in your browser — your input never leaves this page.
Honest note: this tool cannot fetch tags from a YouTube URL automatically — YouTube blocks scrapers. Paste the video's page source (Ctrl+U on the watch page) or a comma-separated tag list below.

Tip: on the YouTube watch page press Ctrl+U (Cmd+Option+U on Mac), select all, copy, and paste here.

Paste page source or a tag list above, then press Extract tags.

Your results will appear here.

Fill in the input above and run the tool to get started.

Honest limits

This tool parses tags from page source YOU paste in — it cannot auto-fetch tags from a YouTube URL because YouTube blocks automated scrapers. Any tool claiming one-click extraction from a bare URL is violating YouTube's terms or showing cached guesses.

How to use the YouTube Tag Extractor

  1. Open the YouTube video and view its page source (Ctrl+U / Cmd+Option+U).
  2. Select all, copy, and paste it into the box above — or paste a comma-separated tag list.
  3. Press Extract tags to see each tag as a separate chip.
  4. Copy individual tags or all of them for your research.

Examples

Example

Page source containing <meta name="keywords" content="sourdough bread, sourdough starter, bread baking"> → 3 tags extracted: "sourdough bread", "sourdough starter", "bread baking" — each with its own copy button.

What this tool doesn't do

  • No auto-fetch: YouTube blocks scrapers, so tags must be pasted in — any tool promising one-click extraction from a URL is not being honest.
  • Only the keywords meta tag is parsed; tags must exist in the pasted source to be found.
  • Use extracted tags for research — write your own tags for your own content rather than cloning.
