Honest limits
Static QR codes encode your content directly: they never expire, but they can't be edited — generate a new one to change the content.
How to use the QR Code Generator
- Pick what the code should contain — a URL, text, WiFi login, contact, SMS or email.
- Fill in the fields; the preview updates automatically.
- Tune size, error correction and colors, then download as PNG or SVG.
Examples
Example
URL tab → https://eazyseotools.com → a scannable 512 px QR code, downloadable as PNG or SVG.
What this tool doesn't do
- These are static codes — to change the destination you must generate and reprint a new code. There are no scan analytics.
- A center logo makes codes harder to scan — always test with a real phone camera before printing.
- Low color contrast between foreground and background can make codes unscannable; the tool warns you below 3:1 contrast.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. It is free to use with no signup, no watermark, and no usage limits.
No. The codes generated here are static — your text is encoded directly into the pattern, so the code works as long as the destination it points to works. A code pointing to a URL keeps working for as long as that URL stays live.
Static QR codes can't be edited — the content is baked into the pattern. If you need to change the text, generate a new code.
Any text: website URLs, plain messages, contact details, WiFi network details, email addresses, or phone numbers. Shorter text produces simpler codes that scan more reliably.
On most phones, just open the camera app and point it at the code — a link preview appears automatically. No special app is needed on modern iOS and Android devices.
Common causes: the printed code is too small, there's poor contrast with the background, the code is damaged or partially covered, or you're scanning from too far away. Reprint larger on a clean background and test before distribution.
Yes. Codes you generate are yours to use on business materials, products, and marketing.
Only share it where the audience is meant to have it. Anyone who scans the code gets the encoded text, so don't print sensitive credentials where strangers can see them.
